It’s a safe assumption that most people do not like traffic. You deal with it driving to work every day. But for those who manuever heavy vehicles during their workday - the traffic situation never goes away. But instead of dealing with cars, they have to deal with wires, and cords, and debris all getting in their way. This kind of "traffic" for heavy vehicles isn't just bothersome - it's extremely dangerous.

During road work or construction, hoses and wires have to used for equipment and excavation. Unfortunately for the heavy vehicles working in these areas, many construction sites will use a few boards piled on top of one another as a form of protection. Unfortunately wooden boards have nails that can pierce tires, debris that can damage cars and the boards can be moved easily by heavier vehicles.

The reason behind this contraption is because some companies feel like the safety of their equipment, their employees, and travelers in the area, come second to budgets. There are more risks with using this kind of construction protection system, rather than paying for Brahman Tough cable and hose protectors. They are tested to handle 125,000 pounds, thats 65 tons! Bring on any commercial or industrial vehicle, Brahman Systems’ cable and hose protectors can handle it.

Instead of using dangerous wooden boards for your scaffolding, trenching and excavating needs, using these kind of construction protection systems will improve your bottom line, protect your equipment and help keep your company away from a slap on the wrist from OSHA. So call Brahman today and make your job site a safe place to work.

When you are a part of an industrial work site, every component and instrument plays an important role in doing the job. Even more important than that task is protecting the employees that control these instruments. That is why having Brahman cable protectors on your side is a great investment for both your company and your employees.

On construction sites, industrial work sites, filming sets, wherever you need them, Brahman cable protectors can stand up to whatever is thrown at them. They are made with steel and laboratory tested up to withstand up to 65 tons! Not only as they incredibly strong but Brahman boards are also extremely easy to set-up, you just need a forklift. They don't need to be constantly maintained, you can just leave them on the ground and trust that your cables and hoses are protected.

Wires and cables are a small but essential part of any industrial site. Wires connect to tools, equipment, power sources, and protection systems. Leaving these wires and cables exposed or underneath a piling of plywood is doing damage to everyone on the worksite, as well as the client whom you are working for. When wires and cables are left out in the open, industrial vehicles, weather and human interference can cause big problems for your site and your bottom line.

Leaving wires and cables out means eventual fraying. When wires are constantly brushing up or being run over again and again, the protective covering is slowly worn down until the internals of the cables are revealed. When this occurs, it is referred to as a live wire, meaning that it contains an exposed electrical circuit, capable of electrocuting or burning someone else. Furthermore, the machinery that the cable is connected to is unlikely to be working properly. Exposed wiring can cause malfunctions and the added risk of injury becomes much higher.

Instead of worrying about these kind of accidents and mishaps, choose to use Brahman Boards with your company. Brahman boards are affordable, easy to install, and built with steel so you can be assured that they are the best product to protect the important aspects of your site.

When it comes to cable and hose protection, there are a lot of imitators on the market today. Try as they might, none of them are built Brahman tough. You may be wondering, what does it mean to be built Brahman Tough?

If you have spent any extended time on a construction site then you know these job sites can be some of the most dangerous places to work. There are the possible dangers from equipment malfunction, employee mistakes or structural instability. Unlike other professions, a mistake on a construction site can really be a life or death situation. That is why Brahman Systems is dedicated to making these sites safer for employees.

There are countless example of OSHA citing construction companies for practicing unsafe standards. One in particular is the use of plywood boards as a form of cable and hose protections. The cables and hoses that connect to extremely powerful and expensive equipment are protected by the cheapest materials on the site? If you’re confused, you aren’t the only one.

The founders of Brahman Systems wanted to find a way to stop the dangerous conditions that construction workers had to be in so they developed their patented design for cable and hose protectors. To be Brahman Tough means that our cable and hose protectors are steel-reinforced so they can handle rough weather, don’t rust and can withstand up to 125,000 pounds of pressure. That’s almost 8 elephants stacked on each other! Talk about tough!

It is not just construction sites that can benefit from cable and hose protections, civic improvement organizations, factories and other companies that need wiring protection should begin using safe and tested equipment like Brahman’s cable and hose protectors. Brahman’s design is so innovative that it has been patented. Companies can either buy or lease the cable and hose protectors and all they need is a forklift to install. Here at Brahman Systems, we specialise in safety. We deal with safety for your products, your vehicles, and most importantly, your workers. Our products ensure the safety of all three of those major aspects of your business, but is a little bit catered more to one than the others. While it can offer protection for everything, it surely shouldn’t be the only safety measure you choose to implement at your worksite.

Being a company focused on safety, we highly recommend and promote the following of proper safety protocols for workers on the site. Whereas our products can protect your business from every problem that’ll head your way, the least we can do is advocate for policies that can. So, let’s discuss a few safety protocols that should never be ignored on a job site.

Clear signage, barricades, and proper traffic control is a must for job sites that incorporate some form of moving traffic. Pedestrians and vehicles don’t mix well, so having signage helps both of those parties navigate the site properly. Barricades can help keep both pedestrians and vehicles out of place it’s not safe for them to be, and traffic control protocols help maintain a safe flow of vehicles throughout the site. Brahman’s products fit into this niche by providing a safe passage for cables and hoses across heavily trafficked roads.

Personnel visibility is also a key safety factor on jobsites. By wearing reflective and/or bright clothing, pedestrian traffic is easier to spot and can be easier to avoid collisions with. In the same category we can discuss safety in clothing. Aside from highly visible and/or reflective clothing, protective gear should also be worn. Hard hats are essential on any kind of job site to protect the worker from head injuries. Steel-toed boot are a smart add-on, as well, as they protect the feet from any falling objects. Safety harnesses, when necessary, should also be required on site.

The first step to a safe job site is safety regulations that are regularly followed. Starting with these rules and continuously upgrading your safety features, your business will continue to grow with success.
